Well, Maxwell's third activation was this last week. They upped the internal volume somem ore and put the midrange frequencies up a bit. Abby played three tosy from each frequency and Max responded to all of them and enjoyed them too. He is now back down to program 1 and this time we will turn him up a pgroam each week instead of every few days. He is enjoying things so far and even liked the songs at church today. It is so wonderful to watch. Abby even helps by talking to him.
Well, there are always first for every kid. There are always must-dos for every kid as well. some kids just take awhile to 'do' certain ones. Today was Maxwell's first ever total blow-out!!!!!!!! I would have celebrated with ice-cream, but it was much too disgusting and I don't ahve ice cream. Anyhow, it actually took both Sam and I working together to get the mess cleaned up and every removable part off the high chair is soaking in the washer. This was one first I could have done without but I know that it is a must-do for every kid and today was Maxwell's must-do doo day.
Last week Abby gave a talk in primary at church. I had forgotten about her assignment and I helped her give a rather short talk and she was none the wiser. I felt stupid for forgettting. That same day they chose her name out of the scripture giving box. So, I had a second chance at remembering. A chance to redeem myself. I think I have failed in that area. There is no redeeming my memory. It just isn't there. Halfway through sacrament meeting I remembered that Abby had to give the scripture. I sent her out in the foyer with Sam and together they practiced or founda scripture and she did fantastic. The only other one she has left to do would be to give a pray. Now that I don't have to remember, but I don't know when it will be.
