What is the point of renaming a blog if you forget you renamed it. I panicked when I couldn't find my blog. Who would erase and do such a mean thing. It was like my journal being thrown out. Of course, I haven't had that happen, but I'm sure I could imagine what that would feel like. And speaking of journals-I suppose I ought to start writing in mine again. I've been gone too long from writing and turned to facebook to offer quick updates and whatnot.
So, I have moved. To Utah, of all places. Who woulda thunk it. :) I miss MD but it is nice to be back west again and closer to family. I miss the support network of friends back there, but I longed to be close to family and mountains. I needed a new start at life, to get out of my rut or to just change things up. Actually, I had been thinking of moving and the spirit told me to "move, and move now". So I moved a whole year earlier than expected. I am glad I did. Everything around me just reinforces that I was not crazy and was being inspired.

Since the move Max has started walking longer distances. Yay! There is a video on facebook. If you haven't seen it I highly suggest you do. If you aren't my friend on facebook then I highly suggest you become my friend just so you can see the video. If you don't have facebook but read my blog and want to see the video just let me know and I will post it here. I'm sure I'll be posting one again soon.
Maxwell is 37 lbs now. He continues to have seizures, but not as often as when we first moved here. They were a lot then. We were hit by the medication shortages reported in the news, but thank goodness for name brand. :)

Abby has decided that reading is fun. Finally!!! She stays up every night reading. I love it. She loves school and finally told me that if we hadn't have moved she wouldn't have met her new best friend.
She has also blossomed. She is amazing. She put on a surprise birthday party for me the other day. very sweet, and she helps me out with maxwell. She is an amazing child.

I have decided to get on with life and stay in school. Yay!!! Pass is on to all your kids to stay in school. however, I am glad this semester is almost over. It was a toughy.
I have also decided to get on with life and date again. Very weird. It is strange to open up to other people, of the opposite gender, after doing so with someone for so many years prior. I do not recommend anybody ever doing this unless you have to. I'd much prefer ya'll stay married and make it work and tell your spouse the same thing. Things do happen though and sometimes people end up where I am at, so then it is good to get out and restart life and meet new people and learn to love again.
Needless to say, I've been on some doozy dates and some really good ones so far. Met some interesting people, and have made some friends. And maybe one of those friends becomes a really good friend. :) But however things work out, I know they will work out for the best. If I end up being single for the rest of my life, that is OK. I'll survive. It's life. Sometimes all you can do is take what is given you and make the best of it. Life doesn't have to be perfect and you don't have to be miserable if it isn't. There are enough things in one's day to make it bright. :) At least for me there is.
