Progress is supposed to seem like you are going forward, but it does not always work out that way. Every single things I did last month to make the house safer for and from Max had not worked. Locks and gates broke. I am back to where I was Jan. 1, but this time with a better attitude and ability to figure out what needs to be done.

Another things with my progress plan for this year (i.e. bettering my life) is cutting back on technology and using my time better. We have added technological devices in our home, but we are trying to use them for very specific and guided activities. Maxwell gets to use a program to help him speak to us and others, and I get to use one to read my school books since they are ebooks. Of course, new toys also mean having to monitor my time again and to make sure I am careful not to get too caught up with it.
Another thought I get is trying to figure out if this blog is still appropriate for my needs or wants. Do I really want to air my life on the internet? Even though keeping a blog is a fun way to keep a journal, so to speak, it also means that everybody can read it (yes, I know about privacy settings). I originally started this blog for family to keep updated on Maxwell and Abby, but I am able to put small snippets on Facebook (limited) that seem to be enough. In all, it comes back to keeping and writing my own journal and having it remain private...and that way I won't accidentally say anything that may hurt someone's feelings if I need to vent. A journal is a great way to express my feelings that would likely have errors in them and I would not have to worry about being misunderstood or what I say be misinterpreted. Chances are I will keep doing this blog, but it will be more limited as it just hasn't been the same since coming back to it.
