We found a town on the way home right next to a military base. We enjoyed that all the fun stuff was made out of war items. I especially enjoyed the decorative windmills made from missiles.

Sam and Abby worked hard to get through the snow. Sam had to go back and get Abby after she refused to walk. She insisted she was stuck.

You can't tell but the swings are only a few inches above the snow.

Abby found a way to keep her feet out of the snow.

Fortunately for Abby she is lightweight. She didn't fall through the snow like Sam did.

Not much here going on, I still have to finish putting everything away from the trip. Next week we head to Utah for another conference. He has to go to this one otherwise they won't give him money for the library. Tuesday he has an interview for Maryland and if I forgot to mention, he did turn down the second interview for Alaska. They just weren't going to pay much.
Anyhow, I got Maxwell's chair again. It is still functional and new tires have been ordered. They even ordered an extra just in case. Not only do we need a new car to carry the chair around but we whatever house we live in next will need to have a ramp. This isn't light like a stroller, this thing is heavy and carrying it up and down the outside stairs is difficult. So, chances of finding a home with a ramp are slim, but we will have to build one.
The chair will have a top to it soon. It was backordered. I think he will enjoy the chair. We got to use it yesterday at church.

Have I mentioned yet how much Max loves books. This is usually what it looks like after he is done reading.

Abby decided to play dress-up with the Potato Head items.

Max decided to join as well.

Since Sam loves whiffle ball and we live where there is lots of room to play we get to go out and get some exercise. We have been on a quest to find good whiffle balls and bats. We have gone through a few bats so far and several balls. Most balls get blown away with the wind when accidentally left outside. Some balls just get beat to death, but they last. This last batch of balls disintigrated upon impact, the first impact. There were six balls, and they turned into several pieces of plastic. We did enjoy finding all the pieces and seeing just how far some of the pieces flew. They yellow ball is one that he broke this time around, but it has been around awhile.

Max has learned to hold and drink from a cup without help.

Ok, so we wanted to have fun. Maxwell didn't, but everyone else did.

p.s. sorry about the size, I just couldn't get it right and don't want to wait for it to load again.

If Maxwell was a girl....
