Still Moving!

This is the part of moving I hate. Waiting. The time seems to drag on and drag on and drag on, but the moving truck will come today. They are coming a day early, no extra cost to us, because it is more convenient for them. I can handle that, one extra day of filling the truck and getting it to fit in the least amount of space. The less space we use the less it will cost.

I attended preschool with Abby. I can see why she has been hating it lately. I would hate it too. Next Tuesday will be her last day.

On our way home from the post office we passed a few horses. As we drove past them Abby mentioned how much she would like to be a Yee Haw girl. Sam tried to tell her I was a Yee Haw girl (not really, and I don't think I'd make a good one) and Abby matter-of-factly pronouned, "she is not, she's a car girl and we are a car family."

Maxwell is up to 21 pounds. Yay! I'm glad. He is working, or rather I am working with him, on crawling. Everyday I hold him up with my hand under his body while he tries to move. He doesn't move much but he has made enough progress to try moving his leg forward (big improvement) and will take his hand out of his mouth and actually try to lift his upper body up. Part of his progress comes in the area of how much he screams. When we began he would scream and scream, most times he would let his head fall to the ground as if he had no more strength and was giving up. Today was the first time he didn't scream and the first time he actually tried to move on his own, even though he couldn't. I am happy with his progress thus far and it makes it a little easier to keep working on him.
