There are moments in the day that come without notice and go so quickly. The sad part about those is when you can't find the camera.

Valentines Day was not too long ago. Ok, so it was awhile ago, but because school was canceled for so long the classes celebrated not very long ago. As a result Maxwell brought home lots of suckers. Now, I have tried showing Maxwell what to do with a sucker and all he gets from it is that it is fun to push the sucker in my mouth. So, I gave up. I couldn't eat another lollipop that tasted like children's cough syrup. Anyhow, yesterday Maxwell found a sucker he could grabbed. He pulled off the wrapper and I watched closely to see what he would do. To my surprise he stuck it in his mouth, like he knew what he was doing. He only gave up on the sucker because I wouldn't let him lay down and suck on it.

Maxwell sucking on a lollipop might be a fluke or it just might be because he has entered a new stage. Everything and anything he can get his hands on he sucks on or chews on. His favorite things to put in his mouth is the phone, but he insists on us pushing on a button to light it up first.
