Today was the Easter egg hunt in town. I wasn't sure what age group to put Maxwell with so I decided he'd have a good chance with the 1 yr. old kids. I was very wrong. I think every 1 yr old child had a hard time, not because they didn't know what to do or couldn't pick the eggs, but the first thing the person in charge said was that no parents could go pass the lines until he told them. That meant he said "go" then they had to wait. While the parents waited, with their children, who weren't going to go on their own, every child that could ran out and picked up all the 1 yr. old eggs. By the time parents were allowed in there wasn't much left for the poor 1yr. olds. I had Abby helping Maxwell while I held Maxwell up so he wouldn't get trampled. We couldn't find any eggs so we cut under the line and went to the 2yr. old section.
Both Abby and Maxwell got a few eggs, as in 3 and 5 eggs. We saw tons of shoving, pushing, ect. that afterward both my friend and I decided to go home and put on our own egg hunt. It was much more fun and I think I'll just have to cut out the "big" ones from now on. Way too big of crowds and not very fun for either child.

Yesterday we took an adventure to the BIG SLIDE. Everyone fun and both Sam and I got a good workout. I don't think Abby was even phased by the climb to the top.

FUN! We also tried to do one of the big Easter egg hunts with some friends and their kids... There were HUNDREDS of kids just in the 1 yr old section so we turned around, bought some eggs at Target and did our own in the back yard :) I've decided that this is the way to go. Also Kennedy is the same way about not wanting to go inside. She'll throw a fit EVERY time.
