Well, things are settling down here. I am going to meet a lady at the library later this afternoon to get instructions on how to type for her. She is an author but does not type. She writes it all down then hires someone to type it. I get to try it this time. I don't mind earning a few hundred for typing. It will come it handy.
I am getting our schedules in place and just like normal I mess it up. I should have checked the calender better because I showed up a week early for Maxwell's dr appt. It all worked out though because the receptionist forgot to write us down and we now know how difficult is it to find the office. Don't ask me why some people do what they do but I seriously think some people are crazy.

Loads of comment on the pictures.
Looks like my old home. Desert then mountain with nothing to see for a long time. It is pretty refreshing.
Wood panneling. . .you were right.
I did this with my Moms fake brick wall in her kitchen: There is an easy fix to that if you have a few spare moments. Go to Home Depot and get a bucket - maybe 2 of "Mud" compound. Fill in the lines with the mud and a metal "scraper" make it as flat as possible. use a wet towel or wipe off sides or sand it down later. Let it dry.
Paint over it with a nice bright white, taupe or something you prefer that will brighten up the space.
Maxwell fits in a BOWL???? Now that's crazy!!!
When does Max get his first real haircut? He is over 1 year old. Seems at that length it's probably pretty hard to manage. Don't worry. He will still be your little baby. Zach has had about 6 haircuts already.
Looks like Abby is settling in with some friends. Get yourself some good ones too! Miss you!
Miss you too. We actually gave Maxwell a haircut the day after I took the picture. Speaking of the picture, he is actually sitting in a smaller bowl that is inside the big bowl. If you couldn't tell the mirror has a picture on it. I think you only see the clouds, but the whole picture is of a ship sailing. You should see the mirrors in our room. Ack!
I would not have thought to do more to the wall then just paint. However, we don't plan on staying in this place long. We fill out papers tomorrow so we can get the money to buy a place of our own and one with air conditioning. Hopefully we whould have it by summer. I will be in Utah this summer so I will stop by for a visit. I gotta say hi.
They are so cute. I am glad you finding good people to hang around and even though it is totally opposite from where you came from....wow. If you get to cut Maxwell's hair, you are so lucky. He has more hair than Kathryn. Tons more. Kathryn is still peach fuzz and she turns 2 in June. I am fnally able to grab it and pull it slightly off the scalp. LOL long time before she gets a hair cut. Alyssa's was down to her shoulders by this age. Wel,, Tell the fam hi and give them kisses for us. We love you guys. Miss ya.
