Well, tonight is Wednesday night. This is my night. This is the night I can watch movies and just relax without having to do anything else. One of my main events of the night is catching up on my favorite, (well not really favorite but it does have me sucked into the story) show on the internet. I must admit I do enjoy "Jericho". Who wouldn't? Of course, you can only really enjoy it if you see all the episodes otherwise you are just lost to the story. One thing I haven't enjoyed about new shows these days is that sort of thing. I guess it keeps people coming back though because they have to see what happens next. And that is what has sucked me in. I just have to see what happens next.
Sandles are must for the desert. I had a pair but they broke. We all need a pair but the stores are so far away and finding good ones are hard unless we go to Vegas. Unfortunately I do not know Vegas well enough to find things other than Wal-Mart since there seems to be one every few miles there.
I haven't gotten more pictures yet. I am almost embarressed to show a picture of the house but I will when I get it taken. I promised Bob.
I received the last half of the book I am to type for the author. I was amazed when I talked to her a few weeks ago. I had to laugh silently when she told me about all the editing that will probably be done. She was very upset that when they edited her last book they simplified all of her sentences. I know the lady means well. I feel bad for her, I really do. I am not a good writer by any stretch of the means but she really believes that her sentences are complex. I want to check out her other book to see just how different it could be. Could they have possibly removed thousands of misplaced commas that didn't need to be there to begin with. Did they take out the last names of people because it didn't make sense to keep them in. (I don't care what year a person is living, you don't call your loved one by their first and last name every single time you speak to them, it just doesn't make sense) It is (I'm sure I have mentioned this before) almost an insult to the reader to think that they cannot remember who you are talking about. Remember, this lady seems to think it very important to remind us the nickname and real name of a main character every time she can.
I don't know, I shouldn't vent so much about it. I do enjoy typing it though and the story is a bit intriguing, so much so that when I stopped typing today I had to read on to see what happens. I guess I will just learn from this experience that whoever types for my book may get a few good laughs at my writing.
