I am beginning to think that it doesn't matter what you do to try and keep from getting sick. Some people just will catch everything that goes around. Abby and Maxwell are sick...again. I am thinking this latest one is because they caught it after they had been sick so their immune systems were down. They didn't have enough time to recover. There are times where I just want to isolate them from the rest of the world so they could quit getting sick. I hope their immune systems are strong enough for when they finally go to school. If they get this sick this often while attending school I might as well home school them since they would be home anyway.

All the kids near us are sick. My counselor at church is sick, and she never gets sick, ever. Something about a desert virus that you get when it is really windy, or something like that. It just gets worse and worse and can often lead to pneumonia.

Sam's parents arrived yesterday from Canada. They drove here and we have been excited to see them. This morning Sam's dad became very ill. By 4pm we called Sam so he could come give a blessing. Sam took him to the ER in Pahrump. Apparently it is some nasty virus that caused severe dehydration. At least he didn't have to stay in the hospital, but it looks like there isn't going to be much fun for anybody the rest of the week.

Both Abby and Maxwell are awake. Neither of them can sleep. This is the only part I hate about being a mother. I cannot stand it when my kids get sick. Not because it is hard on me...but because I cannot stand to see my kids so ill and I, so helpless and can do nothing to ease their discomfort and help them get over this.

Sam isn't sick. I am not sure if I was sick or am getting sick. I hope mine was minor and that I will not get worse.

Now, I guess all I can say is...Oh Well! Life goes on regardless and I shall not worry about what I cannot do but think of things I can do to help the situation.
