Last night Abby and I had a girls' night out. We went to one of the free movie nights at the local arts center. They were showing "Annie". "Annie" is one of Abby's favorite movies. She says Annie is her favorite character. During the movie Abby mentioned how she wanted to be in an orphanage so she could sing with them. I don't think she was meaning she wanted to really be an orphan but that she wanted to be in the movie.

The lady heading the program had everyone pledge not to laugh at her for singing along with the "Tomorrow" song because we were going to be singing too. So the movie started and everyone sang. Abby sang quite loud and belted out 'away' at the end of the song. That was just the opening credits of the movie though. Abby sang along to almost all the songs. I found it quite cute and fun. I am glad she had so much fun. On the way back to the car she began to skip. Funny thing, it is a little more awkward to skip as you get older but she had me skipping right along side her all the way to car.
