Sam is off with a home inspector today looking over the townhome we are intending to buy. I hope it all works out. Let's get the ball rolling!

For the past several months every time Abby signed/said the prayer at night she would ask for Maxwell to eat crackers. She likes to sign 'cracker'. Anyhow, I thought it was silly. Afterall, I wasn't even trying to get him to eat crackers. I wasn't even offering them. Last week Abby and I were eating crackers. I mindlessly set the box down on the floor by where we were sitting. Maxwell crawled to it and got into it. When I looked down there were a few crackers by his legs and then I saw him pick up a cracker and eat it. He didn't just eat one cracker though, he ate a lot and he hasn't stopped yet. So, Abby had the faith that we didn't and she prayed and she now knows her prayer was answered.

There are people who tend to blame God for children with disabilities and they wonder how God could let something like that happen. I don't blame God but it is true what is taught by the Savior in John 9:3 "...but that the works of God should be made manifest in him." Maxwell is disabled, I don't blame anybody for that, but his disability brings out the miracles that we would not have seen any other way. The works of God are manifest in Maxwell as well as many many other people who suffer from disabilities. How else could a small girl's prayer be answered when no one was doing anything to help it be answered? I mean, Maxwell still won't even eat pasta or rice and I've been trying to get him to eat those forever.

Jenny, that is just beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. We have seen those prayers answered too, Emily has prayed and fasted that Kylie would crawl and walk--she hasn't walked yet, but boy oh boy does that girl crawl. Thanks again Jenny for the reminder.

Jenny, what a sweet message and a good reminder of seeing the Lord's hand in the little aspects of our lives.
