We are homeowners now. I feel so....grownup. I'm taking a break from packing and Sam is off finishing off some of the packing left over at our last place. We ran out of boxes and so there are a few things that we didn't get packed. I think I should go over sometime soon though because I haven't done the fridge yet and and our food is slim pickin's right now.
Abby is enjoying our new place. She has made friends with the girl who lives to our left and she has made friends with the girl who lives to our right. She is currently outside on the sidewalk with one of those girls decorating empty boxes with markers.
I will have pictures up soon but this place is far better than our last few homes. We got ourselves a townhome in a row of four. On the end lives Maxwell's caseworker from the early intervention. We are within walking distance (out our backyard) to the church and within just a few blocks of Abby's school.
We had some of the young men from church help us move (there were four families moving yesterday in the ward) along with our hometeacher and my visiting teacher and her husband. My visiting teacher brought her horse trailer. All day it threatened to rain. When there were only four things left on the trailer it finally started to poor like crazy. We had made it!
One of the young men leaders asked if we thought the landlord was going to be able to find someone to rent the place. We told him, "sure, it's cheap." He gave us a strange look, he couldn't believe anyone could live there. I apologized to my visiting teacher about the mess and she reassured me that no one would be able to keep that place clean. I felt reassured that maybe the mess isn't all my fault and so I must prove it. If my new place doesn't stay clean I know I've got a serious problem.

We went to a pick your own farm last week. There was a playground with a toy train. Abby was the conductor and Maxwell and I were the passengers. Abby asked where we were going.
me: "I'm going to Timbuktu and Maxwell is going to Katmandu."
Afterwards Abby was the passenger.
me: "Where are going?"
Abby: "To Timbukone."
